It's great. Can do a whole lotta stuff. Like...
MP3 Importing
Ogg Vorbis Importing
ID3 tag exporting
LADSPA plug-in support
Libresample support
wxWindows 2.4.0
Generates: Silence, White Noise, Tone, Click Track and Pluck
Effects: (a lot) Amplify, BassBoost, Change Pitch, Change Speed, Change Tempo, Compressor, Echo, Equalization, Fade in, Fade out, FFT Filter, Invert, Noise Removal, Normalize, Nyquist Prompt, Phaser, Repeat, Reverse, WahWah, Delay, GVerb, Hard Limiter, High Pass Filter, Low Pass Filter, SC4, and Tremolo.
Export as WAV, MP3, or Ogg Vorbis. Can Import raw data, wav, mp3, labels, and midi. (so any sound can be imported)
Several different ways it can receive your audio when recording, through the microphone, Line-in, Auxiliary, TAD-in, CD Audio, Stereo Mix. (some of those I don't know what or how to use.)
You can do a whole lotta more things with this editor.
It's Called Audacity. And it can be found here> http://audacity.sourceforge.net |
