Im a lead guitar in a band and i gotta ask what would be the best way to make my solos louder during live performances just for that breif amount of time? My rythm guitarist has a louder cab then me and has e.m.g.s, so his sound is prestine. Ive explored new pickups but since im broke right now so im holding off on that. I was thinking about that Zakk wylde mxr pedal cause i heard that increases volume but i just dont know...ive also tried a Boss Eq pedal but that just killed my sound horribly. I use a cry baby from hell which has a volume increase in it and it helps a little so ive been heavily using that but i dont wanna have be by that s.o.b all the damn time and its WAAAYYY to trebly for my liking to leave it on while ripping it up.
