I'd like to suggest that you add videos or maybe even just instructions on how to do hammer-ons and pull-offs. I know how to do them, but beginners will most likely be wondering how you do them, since i don't see any instructions....

Hi Daz, glad to see that you are using the forums here. Hopefully more people like you will come along and the forums will become really active.

I actually plan on adding video for all lessons within 18 months (just an estimate!). That will be a huge effort and I will most likely have to start charging for the full lessons (i.e. lessons that include video).

But I do agree that my instructions are few and far between! I sort of just say, "Here is an exercises so get to it!". For beginners that may be too vague!

regards,

brian

I noticed that in the alternate picking excercises you didn't say which symbol meant downstroke and which meant upstroke. Missing just little details could leave novices quite confused.(I'm a novice but i've been to quite a few sites with technique lessons, so i know some things).

I could write some short instructions to add to your lessons on how to do whichever technique if you don't feel like going into much detail...
