This lesson is infact a complete transcription of the two hand tapping song 'Midnight', by guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani. If you can do the harder excersises on the tapping lesson on this site, this should be fairly easy.
If you enjoy playing this song, you may want to try out other songs by Joe Satriani. His styles range widely, as does the difficulty leval of his songs, ranging from easier stuff (still quite hard) like 'Cryin'... to harder stuff like 'Surfing With The Alien'. Learning his harder songs, particularly if they are slightly beyond you grasp, will noticably improve your technique and playing. I recommend using a metronome and starting very slow, making sure every note, bend, vibrato and slide is perfect. If it is a very hard song, break it down into groups of 2-6 bars and it will seem easier.

The rhythm is fairly free for most of the song - listen to the actual song to see what I mean. Use a clean sound. If you find you get the noise of the wrong strings wringing out in the background, tie a piece of cloth round the neck across the strings near the nut.
